Hyatt Regency Cartagena

All in all, a great place to stay. We got a room with a Bay view - would highly recommend, it is an amazing view. We also got a view with the 30th floor access, which had a reasonable breakfast buffet and also a 4pm-6pm happy hour. What was also nice about this floor is faster check-in/check out - I'd recommend considering the rooms that have that. Outside of those perks, the hotel is great. Location is really nice, short taxi ride to the old town/walled city. Facilities and pools are great. Very helpful staff. All in all a great place.

Overall good stay, especially loved the pool area. Convenience to walk about in the Bocagrande area, the views were just splendid. We ended up having breakfast twice, highly recommend. Staff were helpful, again especially in the hot month of March the pools were everything! Especially with the beach being filled with folks trying to hustle you even at 7am. I specifically booked here on this my 2nd trip to avoid the harassment. I get water and views in a safe unbothered space. Oh bonus next to the mall!

John in the Dining Restaurant was absolutely first class in providing an attentive and helpful service. But Luis, the young man who welcomes new guests and checks them in, was great at helping rectify an error in the quality of the room's view that had been booked. I didn't know for sure if the problem was in the booking process or on the part of the hotel. Either way, Luis willingly corrected the issue at a reasonable price uplift

The location of the hotel is one of the best in Cartagena. Pools are amazing with beautiful view over whole coast of Cartagena. I would love to take a moment and especially highlight one of the employee who works at front desk. Her name is Lida. She is such a professional and she know what does it mean to work in hospitality. She made sure we were happy through our stay and that we feelt good. If we had any request, she always made sure to take care of it. So once again, thank you Lida for everything.

Room: Fantastic! The bed was super comfortable and soft. The pillows were great! The room was spacious and plenty of space for you to put your stuff. The lights are motion sensored and you could control them by the light switches near the bed. You can project your phone with Bluetooth to play your Netflix or other streaming service. Room service was quick and delicious! Breakfast: It was a buffet, you have many options. The fresh juice and fruit were delicious! Definitely give the stredded meat of the day a try. You can sit inside or outside on the balcony. Whenever they pour you coffee you can ask them to bring you whatever you'd like from the buffet as well Pool: there are 3 levels of pool The lower level and mid level is for families The highest level is adults only! There's staff on every level and you can order drinks and food to be delivered to you. The towel you have ti exchange your towel card and make sure you don't lose it. Security and customer service: There are different elevators and you can't get to someone's floor because you can only go to the floor assigned where your room is. There's amazing security due to that and in front of the hotel. The customer service is impressive. The attention to detail and effort from the staff is truly wonderful!
